After a short stop in BA, I flu to the north of Argentina, Salta on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

I took a shower, had breakfast, packed and checked out. Then I walked to Plaza de Mayo, which is 7 blocks away from the hotel. The lady in the hotel didn’t want me to walk with the camera without a bag, as not so many people around and I followed her advice. In the plaza, there was a sort of celebration, so many locals with their traditional clothes. It was very colorful & nice to see but I couldn’t wait till the start.

Around 12.30 I was at the airport, dropped in my big backpack, and I asked for a seat by the window and I got seat 13A at the emergency exit. The lady who helped me said she loves my bag… looks peruvian but it’s said, made in India?

After security check, for the first time I felt hungry, so I went to HRC aeropuerto. I had quinoa burger and strawberry basil lemonade.

Flying to Salta was also smooth, couldn’t see BA, as I sat on the wrong side of the plane but approaching Salta, saw the mountains and green areas. I checked in to hotel del Virrey then went to see the city, the pink cathedral and the surroundings. Beautiful buildings and churches, and the color made them special. I mingled around in between the shops, I bought some water and cookies for tomorrow then

I walked back and lost my way again… :-) Not for long and slept early as tomorrow I should start very early.
