Then we wandered into Herceg Novi, the closest town to the retreat, about 10 km away. We strolled along the coast, listening to the soothing sounds of the sea while locals prepared for the start of the summer season. The old town had a peaceful energy, with charming stone streets and relaxed seaside cafés.
