I am sometimes fascinating with the nature that USA offers. So, when one of my fav woman's solo traveller group, https://www.mewannago.com offered a Galentine's weekend in Palm Spring, I jumped on it and joined. It was an amazing short break to see American's nature beauty.
To start with, the natural hot water source gives this place its name. We stayed at Miracle Springs Resort (https://www.miraclesprings.com) where they have six different warm/ hot pools to chill in all day long. The sun was shinning brightly gave a diifferent color nuance on the day. I already fall in love to this place.
The hot spring is one thing, this place also offers the mountain which I do not see a lot at home. We took Aerial Tramway (https://pstramway.com) and in just about a couple of minutes, we're at the mountain station, Mount San Jacinto, at 2595 m elevation. We could do a hike there and surprisingly in February, there were still some snow around. It was just a perfect mixed break!
This break was not complete without learning about the culture around the San Andreas Fault Line. It is a line where the tectonic plate between Pacific and North American met. It's a kind of dessert area where the indigenous Cahuilla Indians lives. It is a very interesting nature and also Indian history by the guide from Red Jeep Tours.
Not to forget to try your luck at Agua Caliente Casino...
