Yeah… I could travel again for work, this time to Aalborg, Denmark. This is the 3rd city in Denmark, after Copenhagen and Aarhus It’s located by Limfjord, the water (sea) between the archipelagos, connecting to North sea and Aalborg bay. I arrived on Sunday early evening, but had time to stroll around the center which at this time (3rd week of November) full of lights. My heart was full seeing all the hearts shape lights in the center and a small Christmas market around Budolfi church, including the fairy wheel. That night, I had my dinner at Skagen, fish restaurant (https://skagenfiskerestaurant.dk) across the church. I had a special fish and chips of Skagen with 3 different fish and salads. The restaurant’s floor is covered with white sands, imitating the beach. It’s cute, I think and the food was good.
After dinner, I would like to pay, ofcourse, mostly I never left the restaurant without paying. However, I could not find my purse, ok, no panic, I told to myself. I can pay with my apple watch or phone. Due to some reason, as the currency in Denmark is not euro but Danish Kroner, I could not pay with either my watch or phone. I need the card with the chip, so I told the waitress honestly, I could not find my purse, I think it’s in the hotel. However, I was not so sure about it, maybe I lost it. Anyway, so I was prepared to leave my phone and name to her and I would go back to the hotel and back again. She asked her boss and back to me, she said, no I trust you, you can go to your hotel and back with your card. I thanked her, with my blushing cheek, as all the guests were listening to our conversation also. I ran back to my hotel, about 800 m, searched for my purse in the room. Yes, found it and I ran back to the restaurant and paid my dinner. Pffsss, I feel so blessed for that evening, for the trust from this waitress and I found my purse.
Anyway, Aalborg has given me a small thing to feel grateful. I love its waterfront also… although during this visit I didnt see that much natural lights, enjoy the pictures…
